Tribal Membership Rolls, 1910–1960

This series consists of tribal membership rolls, and contains census records from Indian villages from throughout New Mexico. The villages represented include Mesita, Casa Blanco, Encinal, Paquate, Paraje and Seama. There are also accompanying census records for the Taos and Laguna Pueblos Indians. This series was created under the authority of the Department of the Interior, Office of Indian Affairs, Albuquerque Indian School. The series was subsequently transferred to, and thereafter maintained by, the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Albuquerque Area Office.
